Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diaphragm Press Operator to join our team at Altamira Material Solutions. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating Diaphragm, Clicker, and Hydromet Press machines to produce high-quality molds and parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate Diaphragm, Clicker, and Hydromet Press machines to produce molds and parts.
  • Weigh and record resin containers, accurately reporting usage for work orders.
  • Record number of blanks taken and accurately report amount used for work orders.
  • Mold parts accurately, conforming to specifications and processes.
  • Properly die cut parts, conforming to specifications and processes.
  • Accurately clock in and out of work and jobs.
  • Record completed diaphragms and molds, as well as scrap and waste.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations.
  • Meet machine hours versus payroll hours and actual hours versus planned hours on work orders.
  • Meet scrap and waste goals.
  • Load ovens as needed.
  • Properly handle, use, operate, and store tooling and dies.
Requirements
  • Accredited high school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • One to three months' experience in a manufacturing facility highly desired.

  • Lift, pull, and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks.
  • Lift and/or move 35 pounds of weight frequently throughout the assigned workday.
