The Food Runner plays a crucial role in delivering culinary delights to guests swiftly and accurately.

  • Efficiently deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests, utilizing detailed kitchen tickets for accuracy.
  • Facilitate communication between the serving staff and culinary team.
  • Ensure the quality and precision of all orders by reading kitchen tickets thoroughly.
  • Monitor the dining experience, checking in with guests to confirm satisfaction with their meals and service.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries and relay requests to servers.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the dining and service areas.
  • Assist with clearing tables, particularly during busy periods and with larger groups.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of two years of experience in the food and beverage sector as a busser or food runner.
  • Ability to carry multiple plates simultaneously over considerable distances.
  • Proficient in reading kitchen tickets and understanding order details.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, and guest relations.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to personal hygiene and professional appearance.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively during service setup and execution.
  • Desire to exceed guest expectations consistently.
  • Effective listening skills and ability to follow directions from supervisors.

  • Able to transport items weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Willingness to stand and walk for extended periods.
