Job Title:

Pediatric Neuropsychologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Neuropsychologist to join our team at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and developing neurofunctional assessments, including neuropsychological and psychological batteries. They will also assist in translating findings into therapeutic approaches and participate in the supervision of students/residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement neurofunctional assessments and therapeutic approaches
  • Supervise students/residents and provide educational support to families
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Conduct research and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
  • Maintain the highest standards of safety and quality care
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Philosophy or Doctor of Psychology degree
  • 4 years of experience in pediatric neuropsychology
  • Special training and/or experience in pediatric neuropsychology
  • Georgia licensed neuropsychologist or eligible with proof of application
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in pediatric hematology/oncology
  • Experience in providing family therapy/counseling
  • Knowledge of cognitive remediation techniques
