Job Title: Pediatric Neuropsychologist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Neuropsychologist to join our team at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and developing neurofunctional assessments, including neuropsychological and psychological batteries, and assisting with translating the findings into therapeutic approaches.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement neurofunctional assessments and treatment plans for patients with neurological diagnoses.
  • Collaborate with a transdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients and families.
  • Supervise students and residents in the neuropsychology department.
  • Provide counseling and education to families regarding neuropathology and management of neuropsychological deficits.
  • Assist with the coordination of a clinical database and promote research in the field of pediatric neuropsychology.

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Philosophy or Doctor of Psychology degree in Neuropsychology or a related field.
  • 4 years of experience in direct assessment and care of patients with neurological diagnoses in an inpatient and outpatient setting.
  • Special training and/or experience in pediatric neuropsychology.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Georgia licensed neuropsychologist or eligible with proof of application.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
