Job Description
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of pharmacists and technicians to ensure safe and efficient dispensing of medications and durable medical equipment.
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company, state, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with the supermarket team to achieve maximum efficiency and profitability.
- Supervise and coordinate the selection, training, development, and performance of staff to ensure continuous engagement and improvement of department services.
- Maintain a clean and sterile work environment to meet company, local, state, and federal requirements.
- Complete all required audits and paperwork.
- Provide direct supervision, coaching, and feedback to team members as needed.
- Assist in mentoring and training new team members and execute company initiatives and programs.
- Stay up-to-date on new drugs, therapies, and developments in the pharmacy industry.
- Build professional relationships with outside partners, including physicians, nurses, and industry representatives.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in pharmacy, including a minimum of 1 year of licensed work as a pharmacist.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Certification or licensing required: Pharmacy.
