Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Spaulding Hospital - Boston and Cambridge. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and promoting a safe and supportive environment for our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, including communicating with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and wellness, and facilitate informed decision-making.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, and maintain confidentiality of patient records.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Massachusetts.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing.
- Experience in a medical-surgical or critical care setting.
- Certification in a specialty area, such as pediatrics or maternal-child nursing.
This is a per diem position, with variable shifts and weekends required. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
