About the PositionThe Senior Project Associate will work on moderately complex assignments with latitude for limited independent action and decision-making. You will support the implementation of field-based CVP projects and proposals in the CVP practice area and engage in day-to-day project activities, coordination, and administrative support in a flexible, dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities- Provide administrative, contractual, operational, and financial support to CVP projects.
- Coordinate closely with project team(s) and internal support units, including Contracts, Finance, Payroll, Human Resources, IT, and Recruiting teams.
- Manage electronic files to ensure compliance with Dexis protocols and policies.
- Draft requests to clients with minimal supervision.
- Edit, format, and provide input as applicable to project reports for internal and external use.
- Support procurement efforts, subcontracts, and grants under contract.
- Write scopes for and support management of partner subcontracts, subawards, and other agreements.
- Work to ensure compliance with Dexis processes, contractual requirements, and U.S. government regulations.
- Identify and resolve common problems, escalating and tracking more complex issues to their resolution.
- Bachelor's degree in international relations, business, finance, or related field required.
- 3 years of work experience in international development or relevant field.
- Demonstrated experience working on a USAID project in a project management capacity, including procurement of goods and services.
- Demonstrated experience in budget development and financial tracking.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Demonstrated prioritization, organization, planning, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills; excellent writing, editing, and research skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and concisely and to write for diverse audiences.
- Strong ability to multi-task, show attention to detail and work independently.
- Ability to work under deadline pressure with diverse teams.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to travel internationally up to 25% of the time.
- Fluency in French.
Dexis Consulting Group offers a competitive salary range of $62,000-$68,000 USD, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
