As a CNC Machinist in the Firearms Manufacturing sector at XLR Industries, you will play a crucial role in our production team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expertise in CNC CAM Programming, including fixture design and CNC machine operations.
- Hands-on experience with Gibbs Cam software is highly preferred.
- Engage in CNC CAM programming with real-world application.
- Design and implement fixtures for production processes.
- Conduct production, inspection, and operation of prototype components.
- Utilize basic shop tools such as grinders, band saws, and blasting equipment.
- Assess experimental methods and propose enhancements for efficiency and output.
- Perform deburring and cleaning of components as necessary.
- Carry out routine maintenance on machines and shop equipment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a tidy workspace.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.
Supervisory Role: This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.
