Occupational Therapist Assistant

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Symbria. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with our Occupational Therapist to establish effective treatment plans and deliver high-quality care to our patients.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Occupational Therapist to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and goals.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions and therapies to promote patient independence and well-being.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants.
- Valid state license to practice as a COTA.
- Ability to work flexible hours and weekends, as needed.
- Experience in acute care, long-term care, and/or rehabilitation settings a plus.
