Job Summary

Rio Grande Regional Hospital is seeking a skilled Neurovascular Special Procedures Technologist PRN to join our team. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality radiographic imagery for invasive procedures and ensuring radiologic safety precautions for patients, staff, and physicians.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute radiologic requirements for quality control
  • Administer medication and therapies under physician direction
  • Work collaboratively with the Special Procedures team to meet patient needs
  • Understand and apply sterile techniques and sterile field procedures
  • Operate various technologies, including Meditech and PACS
Requirements
  • Associated degree from a school of radiological technology
  • One year of related experience in diagnostic radiology
  • BCLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Current TDH certificate for Certified Medical Technologist
  • ARRT certification preferred

Rio Grande Regional Hospital is a 320-bed full-service hospital serving the Rio Grande Valley for over 30 years. Our team of over 500 physicians represents 35+ specialties, and we offer a range of inpatient and outpatient medical and surgical services. Our Emergency Room is a Level III Trauma Center, and we have extended our ER services into the Rio Grande Valley with remote ERs in McAllen/Mission, Edinburg, and San Juan.
