About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Special Procedures Technologist to join our team at Rio Grande Regional Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute radiologic procedures for invasive procedures, ensuring patient safety and radiologic safety precautions.
  • Administer medication and therapies under the direction of a physician.
  • Work collaboratively with the Special Procedures team to meet the needs of patients and ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Develop and maintain records of radiologic requirements for quality control.
Requirements
  • One year of related experience in diagnostic radiology is preferred.
  • Associated degree from a school of radiological technology is required.
  • BCLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
  • Current TDH certificate for Certified Medical Technologist is required.
  • ARRT is preferred.
