Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled RN to join our Progressive Care Surgical team at Dearborn Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working closely with surgeons and surgical residents to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients undergoing abdominal surgery, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest clinical practices and technologies.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, fostering open communication and teamwork among colleagues.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • MI Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Specialty certification in surgical care or a related field (highly recommended)
