Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist II to join our team at Sutter Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic radiographic examinations, operating complex stationary and mobile diagnostic equipment, and ensuring that routine and priority tasks are completed within established departmental time frames.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans.
  • Operate complex diagnostic equipment, including stationary and mobile units.
  • Ensure that routine and priority tasks are completed within established departmental time frames.
  • Prepare for and assist physicians in radiological diagnostic and/or guidance imaging during invasive procedures.
  • Explain and educate patients on procedures, medications, and contrast media.
  • Mentor and train students and new technologists.
  • Perform general clerical tasks, including answering phones, updating patient appointments, and retrieving and entering patient electronic health records.
  • Prepare and complete accurate documentation related to patient procedures and exam charges.
  • Inventory and order accessories and supplies periodically to maintain established stock levels.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
  • ARRT-American Register of Radiologic Technologist certification.
  • Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification.
  • 2 years recent relevant experience.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position with a varied schedule, including weekends as needed. The salary range for this role is $47.24 to $59.04 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and a competitive compensation package.
