Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee functional aspects of Oracle Cloud ERP projects for clients.
  • Deliver expert knowledge in Oracle Cloud Financials, including GL, AP, AR, Tax, Collections, Expenses, FA, and CM modules.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of Chart of Accounts structure, having led redesign initiatives, and analyze financial reporting requirements while managing month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Demonstrate strong accounting acumen to provide solutions grounded in accounting principles for financial modules.
  • Complete project assignments and deliverables within the specified timelines.
  • Ensure that written deliverables meet the highest quality standards as per established project guidelines.
  • Engage with clients and facilitate workshops to gather and define business requirements.
  • Conduct thorough gap analyses between delivered functionalities and client expectations.
  • Propose solutions for identified gaps along with recommended approaches for Cloud Financials modules.
  • Document gaps, issues, and solution workflows comprehensively.
  • Align customer business processes with Oracle Cloud Applications processes.
  • Configure modules to fit the unique business processes of customers.
  • Migrate financial data from legacy systems to Oracle Cloud Applications.
  • Prepare functional designs for all technical components.
  • Lead testing phases, including unit, integration, and acceptance testing for Cloud Financial modules.
  • Tasks include finalizing testing scenarios with clients, preparing data for testing, scheduling events, coordinating testing completion, and ensuring testing accuracy.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 12 years of experience with Oracle systems is essential.
  • Extensive experience as an Oracle Financial Functional Consultant is required.
  • Experience with IPAC and G-Invoicing is necessary.
  • Prior experience in government contracting is required.
  • Strong communication skills are essential.
  • Solid understanding of general accounting and accounting principles is necessary.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of ERP implementation experience, including at least 2 full cycle implementations on Oracle Cloud Applications as a Module Lead.
