Key Responsibilities- Assist healthcare providers during examinations and medical procedures as required.
- Guide patients in comprehending their healthcare directives.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates, along with documenting chief complaints, medical history, and allergy information.
- Administer permitted injections and vaccinations to patients.
- Prepare examination rooms with necessary supplies and equipment.
- Efficiently manage patient referrals.
- Comply with Universal Precautions and OSHA regulations.
Applicants should possess a High School Diploma or GED. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Training program is preferred, along with certification as a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant. A valid CPR certification is required and must be maintained throughout employment. Previous experience of at least one year in a healthcare setting as a Medical Assistant is advantageous. Bilingual candidates, particularly those fluent in Spanish, are encouraged to apply.
