Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist healthcare providers during examinations and medical procedures as required.
  • Guide patients in comprehending their healthcare directives.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates, along with documenting chief complaints, medical history, and allergy information.
  • Administer permitted injections and vaccinations to patients.
  • Prepare examination rooms with necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Efficiently manage patient referrals.
  • Comply with Universal Precautions and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications

Applicants should possess a High School Diploma or GED. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Training program is preferred, along with certification as a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant. A valid CPR certification is required and must be maintained throughout employment. Previous experience of at least one year in a healthcare setting as a Medical Assistant is advantageous. Bilingual candidates, particularly those fluent in Spanish, are encouraged to apply.
