About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Custody Officer to join our team at Recovery Solutions. As a key member of our security team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a high level of security awareness and vigilance at all times, monitoring and preventing potential security breaches.
  • Conduct thorough security checks and inspections of the facility, identifying and addressing any shortcomings or deficiencies.
  • Prepare and submit accurate and detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and security breaches.
  • Respond to emergency calls and de-escalate aggressive situations, using established techniques to maintain a safe and secure environment.
  • Manage the entry and exit of individuals and vehicles, verifying identification and conducting searches as necessary.
  • Perform safety and sanitation inspections, addressing any hazards or deficiencies and ensuring compliance with facility policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • One year of experience in a correctional or security field (preferred)
  • Valid state driver's license
  • Satisfactory completion of academic and on-the-job training for certification as a Custody Officer
  • Current, valid certification through licensing agency
  • Meet minimum age requirements and be a citizen of the United States
