About the Opportunity

Santa Rosa City Schools is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Substitute Athletic Trainer to join our team. As a Substitute Athletic Trainer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our student-athletes.

Job Summary

This is an on-call position that requires flexibility and availability to work at various school sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing athletic training services during absences or vacancies, including but not limited to:

  • Providing medical care and treatment to student-athletes
  • Conducting physical examinations and assessments
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans
  • Collaborating with school staff and athletic teams
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A degree in a field related to Athletic Training, such as Kinesiology or Sports Medicine
  • BOC certification
  • 2 Letters of Recommendation
  • Desirable: A Master's Degree in Athletic Training or a related field
