Job Title: Air Traffic Control Specialist

ASRC Federal Technical Services is seeking an experienced Air Traffic Control Specialist to support the Federal Aviation Administration in Egg Harbor Township, NJ.

Job Summary

This role will provide Air Traffic Control (ATC) expertise on the Standard Terminal Automation Replacement System (STARS) program, with a focus on test planning, execution, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide ATC experience for the FAA's STARS program, developing and executing test plans, procedures, and reports.
  • Demonstrate initiative, customer orientation, and teamwork competencies, working independently under general guidelines and objectives.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent education level and Seventeen (17) years of National Airspace System (NAS) experience with a minimum of twelve (12) of those years as a Certified Professional Air Traffic Controller (CPC) in a civilian or military En Route, Oceanic or Terminal Air Traffic Control Facility.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical Tester with experience on one of the following NAS programs: STARS, Time Based Flow Management (TBFM), Traffic Flow Management System (TFMS), or Terminal Flight Data Manager (TFDM).
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Located at the FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center; potential for hybrid schedule.
  • Limited (25% or less) travel to locations throughout the US.
