Risk Prevention Coordinator

Position Overview:
The Prevention Specialists are part-time roles dedicated to leading designated programs and workshops for elementary and middle school students.

This is a part-time opportunity. The schedule for candidates will align with the academic calendar of the schools they support. Initially, candidates must be available to work five days a week for training purposes. After completing training, the work schedule will typically consist of 3-5 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver programming as directed by the Director of Prevention.
- Assist students in identifying suitable referrals and resources within the educational institutions and the wider community.
- Support school staff with student disclosures that may indicate concerning or high-risk behaviors.
- Participate in training sessions on new curricula as assigned by the Prevention Director.
- Maintain regular attendance, except when excused.
- Attend all required training sessions mandated by Compass Health, accrediting bodies, and funding organizations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree is required or equivalent experience.
- A background in a mental health-related field is preferred.
