About the Role

**Job Summary**

The Market Finance Lead is a critical role within Humana, responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting on various market data to connect financial outcomes with operational effectiveness. This position requires a strong understanding of complex accounting and financial transactions, as well as the ability to lead and manage special projects that may necessitate cross-functional partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, analyze, and report on market data to inform business decisions
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Actuary, MRA, Corporate Finance, Clinical, and Market Point, as well as external providers and hospitals
  • Develop and implement methods and criteria for measuring and summarizing data for complex analyses
  • Lead and manage special projects, including cross-functional partnerships
  • Provide financial guidance and support to senior leadership
Requirements
  • 5 or more years of technical experience in finance or a related field
  • 2 or more years of management experience
  • Knowledge of complex accounting and financial transactions
  • Ability to lead and manage special projects
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Public Accountant
  • Auditor
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification
  • Proficient in SQL
