About the Role:

Midas - Touch of Gold is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automotive Service Manager in Training to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading our front and back shop operations, while also training to handle phone calls, set appointments, service write, sell, and interact with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the front and back shop operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Train and develop team members to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Handle phone calls, set appointments, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Write and sell service work, while maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Interact with customers, building strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other managers and team members to achieve business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our services.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of store or service manager experience is preferred but not required.
  • General automotive knowledge and experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Leadership and team building abilities.
  • Ability to follow directions and process, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Ability to use computers and software, with a willingness to learn new systems.
  • Valid driver's license and a flexible retail schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
