Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at 5.11 Tactical. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience, building relationships with customers, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of products and services offered, making recommendations to customers based on their needs and preferences.
  • Process merchandise shipments effectively, ensuring accurate inventory levels and maintaining a clean and organized sales floor.
  • Provide an efficient and satisfying cash wrap experience, handling customer transactions and returns with a smile.
  • Assist in housekeeping duties, maintaining a neat and clean store environment that reflects the 5.11 Tactical brand.
  • Execute alteration fitting and customization orders, providing a personalized experience for customers.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate a positive and friendly attitude, engaging customers with enthusiasm and energy.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite and ability to operate a retail POS system.
  • Possess a desire to become an expert about products and educate customers on their features and benefits.
  • Exhibit comfort with contacting customers after the sale to build relationships and drive repeat business.
  • Schedule flexibility to include evenings and weekends, ensuring availability to meet customer needs.
