Job Summary:

To deliver exceptional patient care and contribute to a positive healthcare experience, we are seeking a skilled RN to join our Surgery Center team at Health First. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients, adhering to the Health First I CARE values, and promoting a safe and respectful environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately record and handle patient specimens, ensuring timely and efficient processing.

Provide compassionate and concerned care to patients, ensuring their safety and well-being through accurate identification and adherence to procedures.

Demonstrate leadership in nursing practice, maintaining education standards and adhering to the Nursing Process to ensure high-quality patient care.

Effectively administer medications, adhering to preceptor observation tools and clinical practice guidelines.

Document all nursing care, changes in patient condition, and responses to therapy, treatments, and procedures on patient records to meet standards.

Utilize Health First computer systems, maintaining educational requirements for CEUs and in-services to stay up-to-date with best practices.

Requirements:

Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)

Current RN licensure in the state of practice

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently
