Position: Personal Banker (Member Service Representative III)

The compensation range for this role is outlined below. Our salary ranges are designed to accommodate candidates with varying levels of expertise and experience, while also allowing for growth and advancement over time. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional service to Members visiting our branch and service center locations. Provide comprehensive information and promote credit union products and services to foster strong relationships. Process transactions related to savings, consumer loans, real estate loans, and other auxiliary credit union services.

  • Offer outstanding face-to-face service to Members seeking account assistance. Provide consultative support regarding credit union products and services by evaluating the Member's needs, addressing their concerns, and securing agreement.
  • Facilitate new Memberships, additional share accounts, savings services, loan requests, and loan fundings as per Member requests. Conduct advanced research on accounts, identify and rectify Member account issues, and complete necessary documentation for accounts and loans in accordance with credit union protocols.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of credit union savings and loan products and services. Begin to specialize in a specific area of expertise within the branch (savings, consumer, or real estate loans).
  • Manage cash and negotiable items. May serve as a branch liaison to support departments. Provide recommendations for enhancing departmental and credit union operations. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
  • Complete documentation for accounts and loans in line with credit union procedures. Conduct various file maintenance tasks, including processing requests for address changes, check orders, and ordering ATM cards. May assume vault custodian responsibilities as assigned.
  • Provide consultative services to Members regarding credit union products and services by assessing their needs, addressing concerns, and securing agreement.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to regulatory compliance and assigned training requirements, including but not limited to BSA regulations corresponding to specific job duties. Non-compliance may result in disciplinary actions.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience required.
