Job Summary:

Davis Tool, Incorporated is seeking a skilled Plant Electrician to support our cutting-edge, precision manufacturing facility in Hillsboro. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial components, including motors, variable AC drives, PLCs, servos, sensors, and switches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, troubleshoot, and repair industrial components, including motors, variable AC drives, PLCs, servos, sensors, and switches.
  • Perform preventive maintenance of facilities and equipment on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, addressing potential issues before they escalate.
  • Apply deep understanding of troubleshooting to diagnose and repair problems in complex precision electromechanical machinery.
  • Schedule and interface with 3rd party vendors as required.
  • Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic circuits for various components of a high-precision manufacturing facility.
  • Assist with mechanical repairs as required, including troubleshooting systems and general mechanical repairs.

Requirements:

  • 3 or more years of experience as an electrical maintenance technician or field service engineer.
  • Demonstrate experience diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical circuits in manufacturing equipment.
  • Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting, including ladder logic.
  • Interpret and follow blueprints, drawings, ladder, and schematic diagrams and general instructions to plan and layout test and repair procedures.
  • Knowledge of standard safety regulations.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and implement board-level repairs.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork skills, high attention to detail, and organization.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds intermittently.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at elevated heights.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Journeyman or higher electrical license.
  • GED or High School Diploma.
