Job Title: Limited Maintenance Electrician

International Paper is seeking a skilled Limited Maintenance Electrician to join our team at the Hillsboro Preprint Facility. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine and emergency maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our plant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubricating, measuring wear, and repositioning components
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests to support plant operations
  • Accurately use measurement and test equipment to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues
  • Install and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam system components
  • Replace faulty electrical components, including relays, switches, and motors
  • Troubleshoot and repair electronic components, including printed circuit boards
  • Diagnose and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Troubleshoot drives, including AC and DC systems
  • Read electrical block diagrams, schematics, and PLC ladder logic
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas and accurately prepare and maintain maintenance records
Requirements:
  • LME/PJ/General Journeyman Electrician License is required
  • Electrical aptitude and troubleshooting expertise
  • Mechanical knowledge and experience
  • Ability to pass an advanced industrial skills and instrumentation/electrician knowledge test
