Position Overview:
NovaCare Rehabilitation, in collaboration with The Rothman Institute, is in search of an outpatient Rehabilitation Specialist for a dynamic role in Montgomery County, PA.

Work Schedule:
Per diem. Full-time commitment of 32-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Compensation Package:
Starting salary is a minimum of $80,000 annually, with increases based on experience and hours worked.

Unique Job Details:
This is a full-time float position covering various clinics associated with The Rothman Institute in Montgomery County. You will have a designated home base. The role involves working with all orthopedic and sports medicine cases, collaborating closely with leading orthopedic surgeons in the region.

Specialties Offered Nationwide:
Including aquatic therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, concussion management, sports medicine, pelvic health, oncology rehabilitation, hand therapy, pediatrics, lymphedema, neurological therapy, and functional capacity evaluations/work conditioning.

Key Responsibilities:


Understand and comply with state practice acts and regulations governing physical therapy practice and supervision.

Complete and maintain all required corporate and clinical training, ensuring compliance with state, local, and federal regulations.

Evaluate, treat, and manage treatment plans for patients requiring physical therapy, documenting medical necessity clearly.

Maintain open and respectful communication with colleagues, physicians, patients, family members, and third-party payors at all times.

Participate in facility meetings as directed by the center manager.

Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of an accredited physical therapy program recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).

A valid State Physical Therapy License/Registration is REQUIRED to commence employment.

Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification is mandatory.
