Position Overview:
NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking a Per Diem Transportation Specialist.

This role is classified as Per Diem, meaning hours are not guaranteed.

Applicants must possess a valid Pennsylvania driver's license along with a clean driving record. A CDL is not required.

Our operations are primarily under the names Select Physical Therapy, NovaCare Rehabilitation, Kessler Rehabilitation Center, and KORT. Our esteemed clinical team is dedicated to providing preventative and rehabilitative services that enhance functionality and promote overall well-being. We create tailored treatment plans to meet each patient's unique objectives.

Our integrated local market network enables us to collaborate effectively with physicians, employers, payors, and case managers to achieve optimal patient outcomes in a cost-efficient manner.

We also offer physical therapy and athletic training services to professional sports teams, colleges, universities, and high schools.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate vehicle to transport patients to designated locations.

- Assist patients in entering and exiting the vehicle.

- Review daily schedule prior to patient pickups.

- Refuel the vehicle as necessary.

- Ensure current vehicle registration is maintained.

- Communicate any maintenance needs or issues regarding the vehicle.

- Report any incidents involving the vehicle immediately.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma

- Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License

- 5+ Years of Driving Experience

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to operate a vehicle safely.

- Adhere to all traffic laws as established by the Department of Transportation.

- Maintain a valid driver's license.

- Capability to walk, stand, bend, and reach consistently throughout the workday.

- Visual acuity sufficient for maintaining accurate records and recognizing individuals.

- Ability to communicate effectively to provide and receive directions.

- Capacity to lift up to 50 lbs safely using proper body mechanics.

- High School Diploma or GED is required.
