Responsibilities- Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
- Preventative and Predictive Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance.
- Standard Operating Procedures: Write, maintain, and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs) to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- PLC Programming: Program Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to automate equipment operations.
- Log Keeping: Complete daily maintenance and repair logs to track equipment performance and maintenance activities.
- Communication: Communicate with production associates and management to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Tool Maintenance: Maintain and secure work tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Cleanliness: Clean and maintain the work area to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
- Safety Procedures: Follow all safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Training: Provide training to production associates as requested.
- Inventory Management: Order tools and machinery inventory parts as needed.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, or technical school training in a related field. Working knowledge, education, or experience in one or more of the following areas: electrical systems, mechanical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, welding, piping systems, and PLC programming.
- Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds required.
- Physical Requirements: Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials up to 30 pounds. Machinery and tool operation requires the use of safety equipment, including eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, and work boots.
- Competitive Pay: We offer competitive pay rates, with a range of $30.00-$40.00 hourly, depending on experience.
