Electrical Maintenance Specialist

Big West Oil is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our Maintenance team at our North Salt Lake, Utah facility. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for performing electrical preventative maintenance, equipment repair, and new construction electrical requirements for all industrial equipment at the facility.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform electrical preventative maintenance to ensure production operating free of electrical problems.
- Ensure all lock-out/tag-out instructions are properly executed and that no shortcuts are taken.
- Complete work orders and document preventive maintenance work as directed by supervisor.
- Perform housekeeping duties in the Electrical Shop and work areas.
- Report and document all injuries and hazards to supervisor.
- Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Journeyman electrician with 5+ years of industrial electrical on-the-job experience.
- Proficient in computer usage basics, including Microsoft Office Suite and computer maintenance management systems.
- Proficient in troubleshooting control and power circuits.
- Understanding of Terminal PLC and control systems.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Ability to work at any time, on any shift as assigned.
