At Tel Hai Retirement Community, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Housekeeping Assistant. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our community.

**Responsibilities**

  • Clean and maintain assigned areas, including resident and public spaces, to ensure a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Empty trash and waste receptacles, and restock supplies as needed.
  • Operate cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and mops, to maintain floors and surfaces.
  • Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding linens and clothing.
  • Participate in deep cleaning projects, such as cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, to maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient cleaning process.

**Requirements**

  • Previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
