About the Role

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Radiology Technologist - Level II, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Radiology Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Radiographic Procedures: Conduct a variety of standard radiographic procedures in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all governing regulations and guidelines.
  • Review and Transmit Films: Accurately review and transmit films and reports to appropriate physicians, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Provide Patient Education: Prepare patients for radiographic procedures by accurately assessing their needs and providing education on the procedures and protocols.
  • Operate Radiographic Equipment: Safely and effectively operate computer and radiographic equipment for image production and documentation of images.
  • Maintain Quality Control: Perform quality control measures to ensure optimal quality images and adhere to departmental standards.
  • Enter Patient Information: Accurately enter and complete all patient information, including exam charges and supplies, into the Radiology Information System (RIS) and/or other KP applications.
  • Prepare Films for Interpretation: Prepare films for interpretation by the radiologist in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare providers to ensure quality, continuity, and appropriateness of care.
  • Follow Department Procedures: Adhere to departmental procedures, policies, and guidelines to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements
  • Experience: One (1) year as a Radiological Technologist.
  • Education: N/A
  • License, Certification, Registration: Basic Life Support, Radiologic Technologist Certification
  • Additional Requirements: General knowledge of EH&S, OSHA, DHR, Radiation Safety and Protection, General knowledge of exam protocols, Basic PC (keyboarding & navigation) skills.
