Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at IDR, Inc. as a key member of our Radiology Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of mammography studies, including needle localization and ductograms, with a focus on high-quality imaging and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all types of mammography studies, including needle localization and ductograms, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Conduct stereotactic biopsy procedures and quality control specific to mammography, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and maintaining accurate records.
- Operate and maintain mammography equipment, with a focus on high-quality imaging and minimizing downtime.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process, providing clear instructions and explanations as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist with certification in Radiography and Mammography (R.T.(R)(M)(ARRT)).
- Competency in performing stereotactic procedures and/or quality control related to mammography.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers from the American Heart Association (CPR and AED).
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in mammography.
- 1 year of experience in stereotactic procedures and/or quality control specific to mammography.
- Experience in a clinical research setting.
Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate of $50.00 per hour.
- Full-time schedule with 40 hours per week.
