Job Summary

The Director of Corporate Project Engineering is responsible for leading and managing the execution of strategic capital and operating expense projects that support the business objectives of Kloeckner Metals - Americas. This role requires expertise in multiple engineering disciplines, including Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical engineering, and involves working closely with senior and executive management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct resources to manage both small and large investment projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Develop and manage project scope, specifications, and budgets, as well as oversee project plans and schedules.
  • Lead teams in the procurement of capital equipment, solutions, and processes, and provide technical analysis and expertise to solve complex problems.
  • Report project status and proactively manage issues to successful completion, collaborating with other team members and departments.
  • Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders, both within and outside the organization, and forge and maintain relationships with suppliers and service providers.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil, Construction, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Desirable experience with machine foundation design and building construction.
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience, with strong experience in engineering design tools, such as AutoCAD or equivalent.
  • Ability to travel, with frequency dependent on project requirements.
