Compensation:
$50,000-$65,000+
- Assist in drafting legal documents, including pleadings and correspondence, under the supervision of attorneys.
- Manage office operations, including coordinating with process servers and drafting subpoenas.
- Perform administrative tasks such as answering calls and maintaining an organized filing system for easy access to documents.
- Support attorneys in trial preparation by organizing exhibits, coordinating witnesses, and conducting legal research.
- Conduct client interviews to gather pertinent information regarding legal matters.
- Independently manage Real Estate transactions from initial intake to post-closing.
- Facilitate the progression of Estate Planning, Family Law, and Personal Injury cases from inception to resolution.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to keep them informed about their cases and provide support during challenging times.
- Ensure adherence to each client's Action Plan and compliance with established processes.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver comprehensive legal services.
- Maintain accurate records of all client matters and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Completion of a nationally-accredited paralegal program is highly preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a legal environment, supporting attorneys.
- Completion of an ABA-approved paralegal certificate program is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: Real Estate, Estate Planning, Family Law, Business Law, Litigation, or Personal Injury.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software applications.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
- Demonstrated commitment to client satisfaction and high-quality service delivery.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Sales and marketing experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in additional languages, such as Chinese, is an added benefit.
