PreOp/PACU Charge Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PreOp/PACU Charge Nurse to join our team at USPI Paso Del Norte Surgery Center. As a key member of our surgical services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of cases and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the PreOp/PACU staff to ensure efficient and effective case management.
- Prepare and coordinate monthly schedules, staff meetings, and educational programs.
- Communicate effectively with physicians and other stakeholders to resolve issues and improve case flow.
- Assist with education and training programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills.
- Coordinate with vendors and representatives to ensure timely delivery of supplies and equipment.
- Work closely with the Materials and Sterile Processing Department to maintain aseptic technique and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and administer annual evaluations, and assist with staff counseling as needed.
- Enter data into company systems, including EDGE and Kronos, to track performance and compliance.
