Medical Assistant I

To provide high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient clinic setting, working collaboratively with healthcare teams to deliver exceptional patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with patient flow, responding promptly to call-lights and providing comfort measures to patients and families.
- Perform technical and supportive patient care skills, incorporating the patient's plan of care and adhering to approved policies and procedures.
- Collect vital signs, document chief complaints, and accurately collect excretory specimens.
- Administer medications safely and properly, under the direction of a physician.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, recognizing patient care priorities and potential crises.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement activities, prioritizing productivity and cost containment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Registered Medical Assistant or graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program.
- CPR Certification required.
On-site, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with occasional flexibility as needed.
