As a Senior Procurement Cost Analyst, your primary responsibilities will include developing and/or evaluating should-cost models, gathering, analyzing, and summarizing cost data related to Tool Installation and cleanroom-specific MEP works, with a focus on CSA and overall construction-related activities. You should also be adaptable to handle cost analysis for various areas, including equipment, spare parts, and facility expense projects. Collaborating with other teams, you will benchmark costs across different sites and regions, creating should-cost models for labor and materials. Your additional responsibilities will encompass establishing and implementing systems to enhance cost data collection and analysis, thereby streamlining the decision-making process. You will build relationships across all company sectors to support your data collection, system development, and benchmarking efforts. Your data will yield cost analysis insights to assist Global and Site teams in their decision-making processes.

Daily Responsibilities:
  • Conduct category cost analysis, especially in construction, including equipment, spare parts, facility expenses, and tool installation projects.
  • Perform price and should-cost analysis to support category strategy and business negotiations.
  • Identify and evaluate available reporting data (from source systems or data warehouses) to ensure alignment with business processes, data quality, and requirements.
  • Conduct quality assessments of data, reports, and related decisions.
  • Explore opportunities to correlate data analysis with business challenges.
  • Generate concise summary and dashboard reports that present operational data in a clear and understandable format for various stakeholders, including partners, management, and department leaders.
  • Collaborate closely with Category Managers, Program Managers, and other functional groups to
    • execute global and/or regional process and IT improvement initiatives.
    • identify internal and external industry benchmarks, conduct market analysis and trends (related to analytics and commodities) to share with business partners and leadership.
    • determine how information systems tools can address challenges and enhance processes.
  • Demonstrate a structured approach, including:
    • Managing central repository systems.
    • Tracking prices/costs in areas such as equipment, materials, labor rates, etc.
    • Collecting and analyzing budget versus actual cost variances.
  • Work closely with Program and/or Category Managers to coordinate and facilitate meetings:
    • providing updates on strategic projects and initiatives.
    • presenting data and market summaries to leadership to aid in decision-making.
  • Schedule regular reviews of data and reports with category teams and partners to gather feedback and identify future needs.
  • Present and clarify project/category data to team members, driving discussions and action items related to business direction.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant project experience in cost management, quantity surveying, tool installation, pricing, or business analytics, particularly in Cleanroom/Hospital/Pharmaceutical MEP Process Utilities Systems and CSA-related fields.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications and digital literacy (data analysis, Excel reports, trends, pivot tables, SQL, Python, etc.), with experience in visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) being a plus.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, including the use of analytic toolsets and financial targets to incorporate Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and benchmarking concepts.
  • Experience in applying should-cost methodology.
  • Strong communication, consulting, interpersonal, presentation, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to create concise PowerPoint presentations.
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering - Industrial, Electrical, or Mechanical.
