As a Strategic Technology Consultant at Guidehouse, you will play a pivotal role in helping clients tackle complex technology and cybersecurity challenges. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving strategic goals and objectives for our clients.

We are seeking self-motivated individuals who can develop innovative solutions on their own or as part of a team of skilled professionals. You will interact with senior management and enhance your skills in technical competency, business development, client service, leadership, project management, and people development.

This Entry Level role is focused on supporting Government agencies responsible for securing transportation systems, preparing for and responding to disasters, and other national security-related priorities. Your tasks may include:

  • Designing, developing, launching, and improving new projects and programs
  • Identifying, developing, and implementing performance metrics and measurement tools
  • Documenting and evaluating business processes and making recommendations for process improvements
  • Applying analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills and techniques
  • Producing communications, conducting research, and working collaboratively with teams to formulate solutions
  • Analyzing data and drawing conclusions to improve decision-making
  • Analyzing and developing policies and procedures for various programs and operational needs

In addition to client-facing responsibilities, this role will support business growth, internal operations, and a positive work environment. Activities may include:

  • Assisting in business development activities, such as identifying client needs and developing proposals
  • Participating in coaching and mentoring staff
  • Assisting in developing learning and development materials
  • Supporting programs for recruiting top talent

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Public Trust, Secret, or higher level of federal/government security clearance
  • US Citizenship for security clearance purposes
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college or university between fall 2024 and summer 2025

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge in areas such as Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, and related fields. Familiarity with operating systems, databases, vulnerability management tools, configuration management tools, and other relevant technologies is also beneficial. Experience working in teams to produce high-impact work products and reports, as well as heightened attention to detail and the ability to create and edit technical and non-technical written work products, are highly valued.
