Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Mailroom Clerk to join our team at First Tek. As a key member of our administrative team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our mailroom and warehouse functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sort and file materials, correspondence, and records according to a predetermined system.
  • Scan documents and prepare them for scanning.
  • Receive and sort mail, distributing it to the appropriate individuals or departments.
  • Ensure timely delivery of outgoing mail to the courier or post office.
  • Maintain accurate records of incoming mail and monitor mailroom supplies.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Assist warehouse operations by unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and distributing items for processing.
  • Read customer orders, work orders, and shipping orders to determine items to be moved or distributed.
  • Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or designated areas.
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence.
  • File requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials and distribute items to shipping or designated areas.
Requirements
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent administrative coordination abilities.
  • Experience with basic office equipment, including photocopy machines, scanners, and binding machines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Prior experience with spreadsheets and databases is an asset.
