Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Breakfast Host/Hostess to join our team at Summit Hospitality Group. As a Breakfast Host/Hostess, you will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality complimentary breakfast experience to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage a standard complimentary breakfast, adhering to brand policies and procedures.
  • Stock and maintain coffee stations, including creamers, sugar options, cups, lids, stirrers, and napkins.
  • Prepare hot foods, including heating cooked frozen foods in a convection oven, and place them in buffet line chafing dishes.
  • Set up bakery items, cold items, and monitor food levels, refreshing as necessary.
  • Greet guests during frequent visits to the eating area and maintain a clean and organized breakfast serving area.
  • Break down and clean breakfast serving areas, wash dishes, and set up for the next day.
  • Verify food deliveries and stock items in storage areas.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant setting, preferably with a major brand.
  • Exceptional people skills, with the ability to train others quickly and efficiently.
  • Proficient with inventory control and waste management.
  • Professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Work Environment
  • Flexible work schedule, including early mornings and weekends.
  • Reliable source of transportation.
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 30-50 pounds without assistance.
  • Able to sit, stand, bend, reach, or walk for an extended period.
