Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Parts Administrator to join our team at Dawes Rigging & Crane Rental, Inc. in Madison, WI.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the parts area.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of inventories, price lists, shortages, shipments, expenditures, and goods used or issued.
  • Issue or distribute materials, parts, and supplies to customers or coworkers based on work orders, purchase orders, or requisitions.
  • Place orders with multiple vendors via phone, email, or web portals.
  • Count and record stock items manually or using a computer.
  • Pack and unpack items for storage in stockrooms or yards.
  • Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts and investigate discrepancies.
  • Store items in an orderly manner in stockrooms or other areas.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including processing work orders and documents.
  • Maintain positive relationships with employees, supervisors, and customers.
  • Ensure adherence to safety requirements and regulations.
Requirements
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Must be able to work 40 hours a week and overtime as needed.
  • Able to use phone, computer, and other office equipment.
  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and preferably NexGen maintenance software.
