Front Desk Coordinator

Covenant Living is seeking a skilled Receptionist to provide exceptional customer service and support to our residents, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:- Answer telephone calls in a polite, personal, and friendly manner, transferring calls as needed and taking messages when individuals are unavailable.
- Monitor the emergency system, direct staff to emergent situations, and contact emergency personnel as necessary.
- Provide information to visitors, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate individual and sign in according to policy.
- Keep the reception desk and lobby clean and organized.
- Respond to the emergency call system, contacting residents and staff as needed.
- Sell postage stamps, receive packages, and sort mail.
- Complete monthly charge sheets and possess knowledge of emergency procedures.
- Support other departments with clerical duties and assist the Lead Receptionist as needed.
- High school education or equivalent.
- One year of college or clerical experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Pleasant personality and telephone voice.
- Ability to remain calm in emergency situations.
- Complete confidentiality when circulating general information.
- Knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Interest in working with older adults.
