Viva Senior Living is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Resident Program Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our community, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of service and care for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Exceptional Resident Care: Ensure that residents receive the highest level of service and support, recognizing their individual needs and rights.
- Maintain a Safe and Healthy Environment: Report any occupational exposures, work-related injuries, or illnesses to your supervisor immediately.
- Participate in Emergency Drills and Trainings: Fulfill responsibilities during emergency situations, including evacuation of residents.
- Protect Resident Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of Protected Health Information and report any breaches to appropriate personnel.
- Report Incidents and Concerns: Report any allegations of abuse, neglect, or mistreatment to your supervisor and/or administrator.
- Perform Other Duties: Assist with various tasks and responsibilities as requested by your supervisor.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday, cope with mental and emotional stress, and meet general health requirements.
- Communication Skills: Must be able to relate to and work with residents, including those who are ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, or agitated.
- Physical Abilities: Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet.
