Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team in a float position. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in various settings, including inpatient and outpatient facilities. This is a part-time position, with a variety of schedules available.

Responsibilities
  • Collect blood samples from patients in a safe and efficient manner
  • Process and register samples received from physician offices for testing
  • Provide clerical support to the Pathology Department
  • Float to various outpatient draw stations and clinics as needed
Requirements
  • 6 months of Phlebotomy experience preferred
  • Ability to work 4 am shifts and every third weekend
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
  • 50% of duties involve computer utilization with targets to meet
  • Ability to type 40 words per minute
  • ASCP certification for Phlebotomy preferred
