Job Type: Full-time

Position Overview: The Electrical Apprentice plays a crucial role in supporting Journeyman Electricians with the maintenance and repair of fuel dispensing systems, commercial electrical setups, and various related systems as assigned by the Electrical Department Manager.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Interprets and analyzes schematic diagrams, product specifications, and installation protocols.
  • Selects appropriate materials and components necessary for completing designated repairs.
  • Utilizes tools and equipment safely to perform assigned tasks effectively.
  • Maintains and cares for tools required for the position, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Completes tasks efficiently, thoroughly, and in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Keeps the work area organized and clean, minimizing the risk of material damage and injury.
  • Safeguards company and customer property through responsible practices.

Safety Responsibilities:
  • Adheres to company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Participates actively in scheduled safety meetings.
  • Identifies potential safety hazards in the work environment and takes appropriate actions to mitigate risks.
  • Reports any accidents or injuries to the Journeyman Electrician without delay.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety guidelines, operational instructions, and procedural manuals.
  • Proficient in writing routine reports and correspondence.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license (current, unrestricted, and free of moving violations).

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds repetitively.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, and standing for 8-10 hours per day.
