Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audio Visual Supervisor to join our team at San Manuel Band of Mission Indians. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the technical operations of our audio visual systems, ensuring seamless execution of events and activities, and providing exceptional support to our team members and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Operations
    • Program, engineer, operate, and set up a variety of A/V equipment, including microphones, speakers, projectors, video screens, and video monitors.
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders to implement and complete all events in a timely manner and within the appropriate budget.
    • Manage the installation, troubleshooting, and programming of AV systems throughout Yaamava' Resort and Casino.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities
    • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
    • Interview, hire, and train employees; plan, assign, review, and direct work; schedule, evaluate, and appraise performance; reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems.
  • Education and Experience
    • High School Diploma or GED required.
    • Associate's Degree or equivalency in a related field strongly preferred.
    • Minimum of five (5) years of direct audio visual related experience required, including working directly with projectors, microphones, speakers, amplifiers, and LCD/Plasma displays.
    • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Requirements
    • Vast knowledge of audio, visual, lighting, and digital equipment.
    • Advanced technical aptitude in audio visual technology, computers, and networking.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills to ensure that a non-technical end user and/or senior executive can understand.
    • Ability to create a positive and professional business relationship with internal and external clients.
    • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is essential.
