As a vital member of the Grand Orthodontics team, the **Orthodontic Care Assistant** plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the Orthodontist in various clinical and administrative tasks. This position involves working closely with patients to ensure a comfortable and efficient experience during their visits.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Orthodontist during diverse treatment procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Prepare treatment rooms and take dental X-rays and records as needed.
- Provide patients with clear instructions for oral care following the placement of orthodontic appliances.
- Conduct impressions and/or Itero scans to aid in treatment planning.
- Adhere to and promote infection control protocols, including the preparation and sterilization of instruments and equipment.
- Perform various office management tasks, often utilizing computer systems for documentation and scheduling.
- Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned to support the practice's operations.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a dental assisting role is preferred, though we are open to training the right candidate.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members.
