QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least 60 college credit hours, with a minimum of 12 hours focused on child development.
- Prior experience engaging with school-aged children.
- Proven ability and/or skill in working with children in this age group.
- Lead staff member responsible for designing and executing a program that promotes physical activities, creative expression through arts and crafts, and peer interaction.
- Collaborate effectively with site team, Program Coordinator, school principal, and other staff to share facilities amicably.
- Oversee program materials and supplies, maintaining an accurate inventory.
- Establish strong communication with parents of enrolled children, coordinating with School Resource Personnel as necessary.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and child-centered environment, adhering to cleanliness and health standards.
- Assist the Program Coordinator in ensuring compliance with licensing regulations.
- Complete all necessary documentation, including lesson plans, purchase orders, attendance logs, incident reports, and communication records.
- Be available to work on all designated half days.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator.
REPORTS TO: Extended Day Program Coordinator
COMPENSATION: $17.28 per hour
HOURS: 28.75 hours per week
Monday-Friday - 7:00 a.m. - 9:15 a.m. & 3:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Applicants must be available for all scheduled shifts and 5 hours of planning weekly.

Specific vision abilities required include close vision for reading handwritten or typed materials and the ability to adjust focus.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
T.B. test required upon employment at the applicant's expense.
Applicants recommended for employment must undergo fingerprinting as per legal requirements, conducted by a third party at the applicant's expense. The cost for fingerprinting is approximately $70.00.
A second set of fingerprints is also required for licensing purposes, with an approximate cost of $61.00. Free vouchers may be available.
