Position Responsibilities

The selected candidate will serve as a Senior Systems Engineer, providing essential Systems Engineering and Technical Support for the Zero Trust Implementation. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with existing ICAM capability teams to define project requirements.
  • Developing architectural frameworks and comprehensive design documentation.
  • Conducting technology assessments and supporting risk mitigation strategies.
  • Delivering technical expertise in compliance with industry, federal, and DoD standards.
  • Creating and maintaining documentation related to ICAM Zero Trust, including release notes, user guides, and standard operating procedures.

Additional duties encompass researching technical topics, authoring documentation on system configurations, and providing advisory support for ICAM installations. The role also involves analyzing cloud security environments to identify capability gaps and proposing enhancements to current ICAM services.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Active high-level security clearance to access sensitive information.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 14 years of Systems Engineering experience; additional experience may substitute for educational requirements.
  • Experience level ranging from Level 2 to 3 with 14 to 20 years of Systems Engineering experience.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with software development methodologies.
  • Proven ability to address complex system integration challenges.
  • Experience in presenting technical information to senior management.
  • Knowledge of AWS, Spring Boot, Java, Git, and microservices is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated engineering experience in functional analysis and system architecture development.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with software developers, test engineers, and system administrators.
  • Experience with SharePoint, Confluence, and JIRA.
  • Understanding of Public Key Infrastructure and related standards is a plus.
